Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World Wiki

Bath (風呂, Furo) is the Ninth episode of the Welcome to the Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World anime series.

Plot[]

Kaga learns that despite the overcrowding, no one has ever beaten the entire Quratar labyrinth, and the highest floor ever reached was the 91st. Kaga is disappointed at how weak the first boss monster is so he and Roxanne teleport home. To alleviate his depression, they decide to begin cultivating the neglected garden. While shopping for a clothes washing tub, Kaga realizes an extra large tub could serve as an indoor bath in the stone room, which he hopes to share with Roxanne. As they continually reach higher floors, they are then able to teleport to without starting again from the bottom floor. The difficulty of the boss monsters increase until they reach one that is actually able to injure them with a unique magic skill. Kaga realizes he unintentionally became complacent, putting himself and Roxanne at risk. The bathtub is later delivered and Kaga is able to introduce Roxanne to bathing, and they make love, which is made more exciting by Kaga inventing soap. As Roxanne sleeps, Kaga feels guilty over letting her get injured by the last boss monster and decides they need another warrior in their party as soon as possible.

Trivia[]

The episode is the adaptation of Chapter 12 part 2, as well as chapters 13 and 14. However there are a few differences:

  • In the anime, Roxanne waking Kaga up with a morning kiss has been added.
  • In the manga the scene with them having breakfast and discussing Quratar's labyrinth has been removed, and instead it starts off as they enter the new town's labyrinth.
  • The part with Kaga wasting money on a map for the 1st floor isn’t present at all, while in the manga it plays as a small gaf in the background about him still being a rookie.
  • In the anime after entering the 2nd floor of the Quratar labyrinth they immediately leave for home and afterwards go shopping, while in the manga a scene of what the Kobold Kampfer drops is present together with them exploring the 2nd floor.
  • In the manga Roxanne and Kaga buy food, cook, get lunch, explore the 2nd floor of Quartar’s labyrinth, defeat the monsters on said floor, which takes the rest of the day and the next morning, and have breakfast. While in the anime Roxanne and Kaga go shopping for gardening tools at Onesta’s shop after defeating the Kobold Kampfer on the 1st floor in Quratar’s labyrinth.
  • In the anime Kaga is seen doing gardening work in his old track suit, while in the manga he does it in the clothing he got in the new world.
  • In the anime Roxanne asks to clean Kaga’s clothing and in that context they talk about needing a tub as well, while in the manga Kaga realizes he’s gotten the farmer job and it’s only the next day where they go shopping that the tub is mentioned.
    • A scene of them shopping for clothes isn’t present either in the anime, plus Roxanne is removed from the scene of them buying tubs together.
  • In the anime they are in the labyrinth on the 4th floor and then travel home before eating white stew, while in the manga they try on the clothing they bought earlier before having a romantic moment and prepare to eat the white stew together.
  • In the anime the Mino is introduced as a Tripe, and the episode with them exploring the 4th floor at the Vale labyrinth is greatly reduced in length together with the 2 of them meeting the spiders having been completely removed from the anime.
  • In the anime after eating the white stew, previously removed scenes have been put in here, including those scenes where they walk in Quratar and buy bread from a lady's stall, many of the lunch and breakfast scenes which were previously skipped.
  • The boss battle with the 4th floor boss in Vale’s labyrinth, the exploration of the 5th floor in the same labyrinth and exploration of Quratar’s labyrinths 4th floor has been skipped with the anime moving straight for the boss battle on in Quratar’s labyrinths 4th floor with the Beep Sheep.
    • In the anime after the battle with the Beep Sheep the bathtub arrives, with a bath and an ecchi scene following it, while in the manga the events mentioned above up until the exploration of Vale’s labyrinths 5th floor happened.
      • The ecchi scene is the one from chapter 14 part 2, part 3 and part 4 rather than the one at the end of chapter 13 part 2, which was skipped.
  • The creation of the soap was, with the exception of a small scene in the previously skipped moments where he finishes it, entirely removed from the anime.
  • Two special episodes, which are scenes filled with intimacy, are extra scenes which are linked to actual moments in the anime, the second of them is an extension/remake of the scene near the end of this 9th episode where they use soap and take a bath.
    • This OVA aired December 23, 2022. Its title is “Until the Very End with Roxanne.” (ロクサーヌと最後まで。, Rokusānu to Saigo Made.) and it was Directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, Written by Kurasumi Sunayama and the Storyboarded was made by Naruse Takahashi.
