Skill Crystals are about the same size as Intelligence Cards. They also appear to be blank.
Description[]
Skill crystals are demon drops that, when fused to a piece of equipment, will bestow upon that equipment a skill that depends on what kind of skill crystal is used. Only a Master Smith can perform skill crystal Fusion. skill crystals can only be identified using a Guild Temple.

- They are known in the web novel as monster cards.
- Skill crystals are very rare drops, as it seems that there aren't a lot of them in circulation; the only other way to get them is through auctions.
- There are skill crystals that are called high-ranked skill crystals that can only be used when fused to an equipment together with a High Kobold skill crystal.
- Most people believe that skill crystal fusion relies on luck. This is false as a skill crystal Fusion will always succeed as long as the item has an empty skill slot. If there are no more empty skill slots, then the fusion will fail, the skill crystal will disappear, and the item will be reduced to its raw materials.
- Michio uses Appraisal to tell if an item has an empty skill slot or not.
- The monsters repeat themselves after 33 levels. As the Kobold skill crystal 'boosts' other crystals, that leaves 32 different skills. As the effect can change if it is placed on a weapon or on armour (sometimes it does not change like with the Goat skill crystal), there are potentially 64 different skills.
- Out of the 17 skill crystals whose effects have been stated, only 11 have stated the effects they have on both a weapon and on armour.
- The skill crystal that gives the Earth Sword/Earth Shield skill has not been revealed yet, it is suspected to be from the Pig skill crystal.
- The skill crystal that gives Durandal the HP Absorption skill has not been revealed yet. As the MP Absorption skill is obtained from a plant monster, the HP Absorption skill may also come from a plant monster, like the; Half Herb, Native Olive, Needle Wood or the Sarracenia.
- The skill crystal that gives Durandal the Bypass Defence skill has not been revealed yet, this may be what is obtained when a Slime skill crystal is placed on a weapon.
- Although mentioned, a skill that Increases Magical Attack has yet to be revealed, but there is a skill that Reduces Physical Damage (Slime skill crystal).
- A skill that Increases Defence X2 has yet to be revealed, but there is a X2 Attack skill (Cyclops skill crystal).
- The only attribute that has been increased is the Intelligence attribute (Goat skill crystal). Other potential attribute increases are; Strength, Endurance, Agility, Dexterity and Spirit.
- Other Bonus Point skills that could be used as skill crystal skills, like the Goat skill crystal, may include; Increase Critical rate, Crystallisation Upgrade, Increase Experience Received (on weapon), Decrease Experience Required (on armour), Add Job and Incantation Shortening/Omission.
