Tirihi is the widow of a former adventurer only referred to as Villager Lv25 who left her a one-handed Flaming Rapier, a one-handed Scimitar with two skill slots available, and a plain Dagger. Michio often fantasizes about her nightcrawling into his bed during his stay in Somara's village.

Appearance[]

She has blond hair like someone from eastern Europe and is apparently beautiful.

Personality[]

Based on what little we see of her in the LN and WN, Tirihi seems to have a polite and gentle personality. In the what-if night-crawling scene, she seems to be a woman who's able to put aside her grief to reward the Hero of her village and who avenged her late husband's death.

Based on what she told her son, she's a practical woman who doesn't hope nor expect Michio to stay and live with her.

Background[]

Her history isn't known. Only that she's a villager who has presumedly lived in Somara Village her whole life. And, at some point, married Villager LV25, who had once been an adventurer and decided to settle down.

Chronology[]

Tirihi appears to be the widow of an adventurer who died in the bandit attack that Michio stopped. She presents some weapons to Michio to appraise and be sold in the city.

In a special chapter of the web novel, she pays a nocturnal visit to Michio to reward him for saving the village, this chapter was omitted from both the light novel and the manga.

Abilities[]

Tirihi is a villager with no known abilities, aside from the usual housework, cooking, and maybe helping out around the village. Assuming she didn't have a previous job, her Villager level is rather low considering her age, being at only LV 12.

She doesn't seem to have any combat abilities.

Relationships[]

Family[]

Villager LV25[]

Tirihi was married to an unnamed former Adventurer-turned-Villager who was at LV25, who looked to have been the center of the community and the village's defenses. While it's not known how they met or when they married, or even if they had any family other than themselves (i.e. kids or relatives), it's obvious that they loved each other very deeply. Tirihi was deeply grieved at his death at Hugo's hands and, upon hearing of Michio's ability, she reluctantly met him to have her husband's weapons appraised in order to get some money from them to live out the year (also, presumedly, for taxes).

She seems to still hold a torch for her late husband, as she had her son, Mio, believe that her late husband was his father, who had tragically died before he was born, rather than Michio, who is presumed to be his real father, based on their similar appearances and names.

Mio (Kaga)[]

Mio is Tirihi's 9-year-old son, who is presumedly the result of her one-night stand with Michio. Based on interactions between Michio and Mio, Tirihi taught Mio well and he seems to share her polite and respectful nature. She told him that his father, her late husband, died before he was born. This likely shows that she intended to continue her late husband's legacy via Mio and wanted to prevent him from becoming an Adventurer in order to find his real father.

Allies[]

Somara[]

Bikka[]

Michio Kaga[]

Tirihi is respectful and polite towards Michio and asks through Chief Somara to appraise her deceased husband's weapons in the hopes of selling them after hearing about his ability. She also tries to keep her grief in check so that he doesn't see it.

She comes to pay a night-visit to Michio in the WN and Anime, likely to 1) reward him for saving her village, 2) to be comforted over her late husband's passing, and 3) in the hopes of getting pregnant and having somebody to look after her once she grows old, depending on the customs of this world.

She seems to respect Michio enough to not beg him to stay (in the anime and WN), nor did she let him know that she was with child, rightly understanding an Adventurer's heart as her husband might've been the same, and assuming that she'd probably never see him again, resulting in telling her future son that his father — her late husband — died before he was born. And Michio seemed to respect that wish, gifting Mio her late husband's scimitar — newly upgraded with skills — so that he can protect both him and Tirihi. It's unknown what her feelings were when she saw that Michio returned after 10 years, or, if, like with Bikka and Somara, had simply forgotten him (likely a game mechanic?).

Enemies[]

Hugo[]

Tirihi's personal feelings about Hugo aren't known, but it's presumed that she views bandits in the same way everyone else does, and is aggrieved that her husband died at Hugo's blade.

Trivia[]

  • She appears in both the web novel and the anime, however her appearance was omitted from the manga.
  • Her nocturnal visit to Michio only appears in a special chapter of the Web Novel that was omitted from both the Light Novel and the manga.
  • Tirihi was the first woman Michio felt attraction and sexual desire for after coming to another world.
